More about me
With over 25 years of experience working with both people and horses, I’ve found that real healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I aim to bring my love of animals and nature into my work to help clients build confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being in a way that feels natural and meaningful for them.
I believe in a gentle, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to counselling, focusing on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, whether we’re working in a traditional setting, in nature, or alongside horses. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your concerns with kindness and self-compassion. I’m passionate about integrating equine-assisted and nature-based therapy, using movement, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to help regulate the nervous system and foster lasting transformation. This holistic approach supports your overall well-being, empowering you to make meaningful and sustainable change.
I also have a special interest in supporting parents as they navigate the ups and downs of raising children. I know firsthand how rewarding—and challenging—it can be. As a mum of three teenagers, I combine my professional expertise with real-life experience, helping parents strengthen their relationships with their kids while maintaining healthy boundaries and family expectations.
I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and have also completed specialist training with The Equine Psychotherapy Institute and EAGALA, expanding my expertise in equine-assisted therapy. With over 20 years of experience as an equestrian coach, I have a deep appreciation for the powerful connection between humans and horses and how it can support emotional healing. I am a registered member of ACA and the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and I remain committed to maintaining the highest professional standards in my practice.
I believe in a down to earth, honest and practical approach to life and to supporting others. Whether you’re looking for healing, clarity, or just a safe place to process life’s challenges, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
