More about me…

With over 25 years of experience working with both people and horses, I've found that real healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and supported. I bring my love of animals and nature into my work to help clients build confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being in a way that feels natural and meaningful for them.

I believe in a gentle, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to counselling, focusing on the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, whether we're working in a traditional setting, in nature, or alongside horses. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your concerns with kindness and self-compassion. I'm passionate about integrating equine-assisted and nature-based therapy, using movement, mindfulness, and somatic techniques to help regulate the nervous system and foster lasting transformation.

I also have a special interest in supporting parents navigating the ups and downs of raising children. As a mum of three teenagers, I combine professional expertise with real-life experience, helping parents strengthen relationships with their kids while maintaining healthy boundaries and family expectations.

I hold a Bachelor of Counselling and have completed specialist training with The Equine Psychotherapy Institute and EAGALA. With over 20 years of experience as an equestrian coach, I have a deep appreciation for the powerful connection between humans and horses and how it can support emotional healing. I am a registered member of ACA and the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and I'm committed to maintaining the highest professional standards in my practice.

I also provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling through Spring Health, supporting individuals in the workplace with accessible, confidential mental health care.

Whether you're looking for healing, clarity, or just a safe place to process life's challenges — I'm here to support you every step of the way.
